french crepes and weekend activities

Had a wonderful meal at the French-Bretagne restaurant (Mamm-Goz) on the Saturday. It has a nice bistro atmosphere. They make all kinds of delicious savoury and dessert crepes. Most of the ingredients are imported from France. I had a crepe with french pork sausage and emmenthal cheese. For dessert we all had flambed crepes. Yummy. We shared a bottle of Cidre Val de Rance from Bretagne.

Afterwards the very nice French owner came over and treated us all to shots of an ultra-strong plum liquer from France. Just a sip and I felt warm all over =) 

Spent a quiet Sunday doing grocery shopping, LJ and writing. 


Story stuff

I am currently writing ch 22 of the current DB story. I'm hoping to end it at 22 or 23. Planning for the next story now and trying to figure out what to do with little Anna. I'm going to focus more on action and multiple plots with the next one. DB has almost exclusively been about Avon's recovery and getting a feel for the new dynamic of the crew now that Avon is back.

Feedback request: Has the DB moved too slowly compared to the other stories?

I haven't done up an index for the new series yet but I will. Just trying to decide on the title for it.
